I just had a phone call from someone claiming to represent Microsoft claiming that they had been receiving lots of error reports from my computer. Now I happen to know for certain that any such reports would not get out through the firewall and that therefore such reports would not be coming from my computer. [...]

One of the problems with abbreviations such as this is that they can mean different things to different people. What this particular abbreviation means depends on the age of the person receiving it.
